The WHO High Level Independent Committee has proposed six recommendations to address the spread of the NCDs, according to a recent online report in The Lancet.
According to the Committee, States are not on track to achieve the goal of sustainable development of non-communicable diseases: reducing premature deaths from non-communicable diseases (cardiovascular disease, cancers, respiratory diseases and diabetes) by a third by 2030, Of early noncommunicable diseases and the promotion of mental health.
